He believes that environmental movement is movement of the young generation and he is waging the movement because of the young people of Pakistan. He wants to make a better Pakistan for next generations so youngsters should take part actively and learn about the environmental issues and try to tackle the problems.
Malik Amin Aslam got BSc Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Engineering &Technology, Lahore, in 1990 and an MBA in Finance from McGill University, Canada, in 1993, followed by an MSc in Environmental Management from Oxford University, UK, in 1996.
He has served as a member of the Government of Pakistan Environmental Advisory Board since 1999 and Editorial Board of the Climate Policy Journal since 1998. He has also served as a member of the UN Working Group on Climate Change since 1997. Married with two sons and a daughter, he has travelled to U.S.A, Canada, Chile and several countries within Europe including France, Germany and U.K. His hobbies include scuba diving and sky diving. Malik Amin Aslam Khan is a member of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) of Pakistan.
